Allow me to share a piece of important logic behind Internal Social Justice™ (ISJ).
As a personal practice, it is not a retreat from systemic thinking.
It is the recognition that systems are made of people, and people carry racial conditioning in their bodies, and this conditioning causes dis-ease. and bodies can be rewired. This logic is born from my decades as a health practitioner, and the knowing that in order to treat the disease at its root, we must treat it in the individual before it can be transformed in the collective. Bodies can be treated. The personal practices of ISJ transform internalized conditioning. Bodies can be rewired This is not a slower route to justice. It is the only route that reaches the root.
